First of all, I like to say thanks for all monks who have been prepared for this
Buddhist ceremony and all the monks who are the members of preservation
society. I thank to you all our people who attend this ceremony in spite of bad
situation of weather including all the monks.
Yeongsanje Preservation Association of Bongwon temple used to spread the
greatness of art of korean buddhism’s culture and the teaching of Buddha for
global peace, last for 27 years, to play the demonstration of youngsanje wherever
were invitated for cultural occasion all over the world.
Originally, youngsanje has been teaching how people live happily with calm mind
for learning from knowledge of Buddhism out of delusion and anonymity.

Moreover, what we all need is, nowadays, peaceful world without war, live life
without pain and sorrow. These expression is shown through Buddhist ceremony
like youngsanje base on basic theory and teaching of Buddhism. Therefore, the
reason we have today’s ceremony, youngsanje, is for wish of world peace and the
growth of our country.
Youngsanje a intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO is the main flower and
point of our all traditional Korean culture and cannot be compare with
anythingelse.
Youngsanje again has been played whenever anything happened out country
whether was happiness or sad in grand way, as well as youngsanje is base on
worship of ancestors and preservative of Buddhism. And youngsanje has a value
of cultural art combining of poem, music and dance overall.
The succession of youngsange is the assignment of all our Buddhist communism
and our mission.
For that, Yeongsanje Preservation Association has been preparing firmly and
strongly how to preserve the academic system and dignity of youngsanje and
hand over our successor.
Lastly, Yeongsanje Preservation Association will promise to you all try to do all our
best to preserve and take care of our beautiful sound of BUMPE and dance of
Buddhism.
