8. Hyanghwagye: Incense and Flower Offerings
Incense and flowers, symbols of the infinite world of Buddhism and the Buddha, are offered as gestures for vowing to transform oneself, upon receiving the powers of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, as quickly as possible so as to lead all sentient beings out of suffering and into enlightenment.
